My favorite moment in any experience is being able to share something that someone says, “I never thought of that of that before.” At my core, I am a teacher.One of five children, I am the product of a father who taught elementary school for 22 years (he was my 6th grade teacher) following his retirement from the Marine Corp after 20 years of service, and an entrepreneurial mother who started her own business in order to put four of her children through college, and to provide for a son Dennis living with disabilities. My peak life experiences include becoming the youngest Eagle Scout at 13, catching the winning touchdown against Torrey Pines High School with 6 seconds left, getting accepted into an Ivy League University & winning an Ivy-League Championship, teaching myself Japanese & re-uniting my mother with a family who once disowned her, moving to Atlanta for my wife Sommer, and currently raising my two incredible daughters.
