Modified a Dojo application to add new functionality including extending and existing set of business rules to include new features.Technologies used: REST, Dojo, jUnit, Servlets, JAX-RS, WebSphere 7.0

As Sr. Developer I was given the assignment to make our HomeTracker Application easier to support and expand. We did this in several ways by driving the majority of our application through configuration rather than hard coded values.In last year I have spent a lot of time working on our Bidselect product. We released a new look and feel in March 2012. The front end utilized jQuery with RESTful web services to inject DOM content. We took a process that was not repeatable for the different listing interfaces and consolidated backed processes so that we had to write simple conversion utilities. This helped reduce the time to create a new interface from 2 weeks to 2 days.

At Aldor I worked on the Web FDMS platform (Funeral Directors Management System). We streamlined the process for on-boarding new clients as well as implement better security for S-OX compliance.

The Benefit Harbor product helped manage on-line enrollments. We acted as the middle men between employers, employees, and insurance companies. Beyond creating the web forms for enrollment, I helped write some of the interfaces.One major product was to build enrollment forms for Universal Life and Voluntary Term products with a major insurance company.

Worked in the Engineering Support department. Responsible for finding quotes and ordering equipment for Hardware Engineering department. Developed small applications to assist in automation of engineering department. One large application was a time tracking tool that was used by the entire division.
