David was a partner at several leading law firms, including lastly at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. He has extensive experience with fund raising and management issues ranging from start-ups to public entities, including as the General Counsel of an alternative asset management startup that in two years went from initial funding to the launch of an IPO. In addition, David served for 4 years as the CEO of a broker-dealer, for which he was a registered representative with multiple licenses through FINRA.David was the first lawyer in Houston certified as a LEED-accredited professional by the U.S. Green Building Council and owns the first LEED-H certified home in Houston (with a gold certification).
