In January 2011, TRN began rolling out an all news network service for stations, called America's Radio News Network (ARNN). ARNN began with a three-hour news block airing from 12 noon to 3 pm (Eastern Time) and has since added blocks broadcast from 3 pm to 6 pm and 6 pm to 9 pm, five days a week. ARNN calls these news blocks "long-form" coverage, similar in format to NPR's morning and afternoon news magazines. ARNN says the format is designed to be flexible to all stations to take the entire package or include local news segments within each news block. ARNN is a non-partisan radio network.

Sam (Jenkins) Sorbo credits an inquisitive nature and adventurous personality for her eclectic list of accomplishments: actress, international fashion model, real estate developer, writer, photographer, and most recently, radio show host. After attending high school in Pittsburg, PA, Sam studied biomedical engineering at Duke University before resolving to take advantage of her 5-foot-ten-inch frame and pursue modeling. This offered her the chance to travel and learn languages; she is fluent in five. Despite early discouraging by those who considered the industry too risky, Sam moved to Los Angeles for acting. Her perseverance gained her roles in several films and TV shows: Bonfire of the Vanities, Twenty Bucks, and The Crew, to name a few, as well as recurring roles on Chicago Hope and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys. Hercules introduced her to Kevin Sorbo, who swept her off her feet. They married in 1998 and she moved to New Zealand. While living in Auckland, Sam continued with her photography and writing by publishing a humorous and educational photo-book, Gizmoe: The Legendary Journeys, Auckland. Sam’s most recent book, with co-author Marius Forte, is The Answer: Proof of God in Heaven.
