Valorization of crudes in different refinery configurations and markets with crude manager and linear programming tools in support to upstream, midstream and downstream projects. Netback analysis for crudes and participation in Statoil worldwide projects in the estimation of the value uplift of equity production. Support to trading analysis.

Development of Oil Sands SAGD production plan, technical and economical evaluation of SAGD technology alternatives for improving production and/or cost savings, reserves analyses, preparation of business plan profile, evaluation of sustaining projects.

Development of the Long Range Plan (LRP) for Suncor Oil Sands. Optimization of the downstream business (Upgrader product slate) with Haverly system (linear programming tool). Technical and economical feasibility studies for Upgrading, Mining, Refining and In-situ projects related to new units and/or debottlenecks for Board of Director meetings, Executive and Management Committee meetings. Market and price analysis. Development of economic models in cooperation with Tax, Royalty, Oil Sands, Corporate Planning organizations.

Performance Analysis of the Sincor Upgrading Complex (Join Venture PDVSA, Total and Statoil). Monitoring and follow up of operations, maintenance, safety, environmental and security indicators, utilities consumption, lost opportunities, logistics and contract indexes, human resources and financial performance.
