I am passionate about visionary, stunning and emotionalizing live and hybrid events. Former Federal Minister #ElliKöstinger, Austria, introduced me as "one of Europe's leading executive experts in live communication" (at European Forum Alpbach, September 2021). Leading strong teams to succeed in complex environments has always been in the focus of my doings since my training as military intelligence officer in the Swiss Army (1989-1991) and in my subsequent job positions. Strong international network in events, travel and tourism. Proven diplomatic and language skills (7+1 languages). Scientific author and lecturer in the fields of event research as well as in scientific approach to travel and tourism; substantial publications list in both fields. Ranking among the 75 most travelled Swiss (according to platform NomadMania, as of May 2022).My personal motto: "No other success in life can compensate for failure in the home" (James E. McCulloch). I love to spend time off with our family of four kids, their partners and our three grandchildren and am passionate in listening to and actively performing classical piano music and jazz. I also love arts and culture. My personal highlight of the past years: Visiting Christo's "The Floating Piers" on Lake Iseo in northern Italy in 2016 together with my wife. Such moments teach you what it means to litterally be able to walk on the water, even when things may seem impossible.
