I was hired as a Partner at this management consultancy focusing on C suite leadership, talent development, assessments and coaching, working with a range of high profile clients. My role was to transform operations and build a sustainable platform to grow the business.I lead all aspects of HR for the 10 employees and over 30 associates engaged on a project by project basis. When the Covid pandemic struck I pivoted the business to online only when revenues were reduced. This included developing digital assets and transforming all L&D and operational processes and procedures to be hosted on a new virtual learning management system.Despite the pandemic I helped retain all major clients and grew the business with multiple new clients. In addition, I developed an inclusive company culture with practices and policies that encourage diversity.

Bury St Edmunds

In this role I was hired to transform the operational effectiveness of this management consultancy with over 30 consultants specialising in agriculture, planning and environmental solutions. I carried out analysis of company policies, processes and procedures and authored a 5 year growth strategy signed off by the Board.The 5 year strategy forecasted year-on-year growth through a combination of reduction in time written off, consolidation of overheads and improved new business activities. I developed a new management reporting dashboard to increase visibility of billings, time and other KPIs that enhanced performance measurement and critical decision making.Consultant time written off was reduced significantly within three months and business development conversions were improved with 3 to 4 new clients a month.

Here I led a team of 9 and campus operations across the £120m post-graduate degree and executive leadership programmes ensuring optimal resource allocation to ensure the smooth running of courses. I managed £multi-million performance related outsourced contracts across facilities management, on site and online gift shop and management of on-site 40 room hotel.A Member of the Senior Management Team, I was also a member of the Inclusion and Diversity Panel introducing new recruitment processes to encourage a more diverse workplace. I designed and implemented new customer service standards and practices, raising satisfaction scores enabling School to be ranked #2 in the world by the Financial Times.

I drove improvements in resource allocation and operational efficiency in management of the £60m executive education programmes. This involved leading a team of 10 and large budget managing resource allocation for the delivery of executive education programmes to over 10,000 participants from 1,000+ companies a year.I developed a new resource management system to allocate resources effectively against the needs of diverse programmes valued between £10k and £5m. I also created a new management dashboard to track allocation, utilisation and performance of 40+ programme managers and ensured all KPIs were met and aligned to the School objectives.

I turned around the team to become high performing with the introduction of a new performance system, increased empowerment and accountability and clear individual career direction. I acted as business partner to various departments to optimise the student journey and ensure consistency in all operational processes and procedures.

I was promoted several times with increased responsibility to lead world class operations in the planning and performance of elite athletes for 6 World Championships and the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and Paralympics. I secured £2m Paralympic funding for Rio 2016 and was Team Leader for the 2008 Beijing and 2012 London Paralympics securing 1 medal in 2008 and 2 medals in 2012.
