Company was transitioning to a Board level Chief Information Officer structure and I was one of two “acting” Directors asked to lead the organization. Senior Global Logistics role responsible for driving strategic supply chain programs/imperatives including divestiture activities/establishment of new worldwide Sales/Distribution operations. Led negotiations with worldwide 3PL providers ensuring optimal value while managing overall performance and financial administration functions. Drove the Global Delivery Management initiative to ensure lowest landed cost between and among suppliers and worldwide affiliates. Evaluated and recommended emerging technologies and applications to improve worldwide operational effectiveness (such as ERP, EDI, barcoding, DRP tools, import/export systems etc). Participated on merger and consolidated business team that assessed and implemented strategy to combine two company affiliates to leverage synergies and reduce costs.

Managed a customer-focused team that provided import and export logistics support to Clinical Diagnostics, its’ international supply centers and dealers. Responsible for inbound logistics and import operations, export functions including: demand planning, customer/order service, pricing and credit administration, warehousing, transportation mgmt, government controls-regulations-docs and reporting. As a member of the Global Logistics Council, coordinated logistics operations for Europe, Canada, Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions-acting as key Supply Chain Mgmt interface with Regional Vice Presidents.
