In my fifteen years in the industry, I have learned work benefits from knowing every aspect of a job. From concept to design and artwork as well as re-touching and animation.I’m also a keen advocate of working smart and have helped shape working practices. From filing and naming conventions to creating pixel-perfect templates to improve workflow. Furthermore, I am part of the reviewing team helping with a constructive critique of work from a design and corporate guidelines aspect. I host weekly meetings teaching and updating the studio on the brands that we work on as well as giving an open forum for the team to share work and achievements. I have also been fortunate to have mentored junior staff to help them develop skills that will help them become proficient designers.Work-wise I have experience working across multiple brands creating strategy-led creative. Broadly this has fallen into either offer-driven assets or bigger more conceptual work launching a product or service. This work has included the Launch of Rolls-Royce and MINI’s first electric car.With these automotive clients comes strict guidance in terms of their corporate identities which has taught me a valuable lesson in when and when not to push the envelope with concepts and design. I have also had the opportunity to write some of the corporate dealer guidelines for Rolls-Royce.
