During my time at Apoteket, I played a crucial role in updating our app to enhance the user experience for prescription customers and boost sales. Our aim was to create an app that managed prescriptions while also allowing both existing and new users to buy products. From the start, I focused on creating a new design system in Figma to meet WCAG standard 2.1.As a UI designer in Apoteket's Discovery team, I worked closely with developers and testers, overseeing areas like Search & Results, Product Cards, Product Pages, Brands, and prescription cards under My Prescriptions. I also led team activities, organizing retrospectives and workshops to build the team.My responsibilities included developing sales blocks, designing new layouts, and revamping icons and pictograms for pixel-perfect delivery. We heavily relied on data-driven design, analyzing web behavior and conducting user testing to improve the app's performance.After launch, we saw a 17% increase in sales and a rise in the app's rating from 2.7 to 4.7, with an additional 40,000 downloads.

I had assignments at Cartina as a UI Designer. I helped with their web project to build a website to promote their concept of sustainability. It meant designing from templates and also how to navigate the page. I also helped to add an event calendar, newsletter, and articles that Cartina could write about sustainability. I helped with their marketing and social media. That included printing brochures and rollups for their events and held team-building activities. I also gave a lecture to the team on how to use the team canvas to build effective teams.

I was at Coop as a UI design consultant where I had the opportunity to be responsible for Coop’s design system. I worked closely with managers, stakeholders, UI designers, and UX designers/writers in Coop's design team. I was hired to help build and start the development of Coop's design system for both the app and the web. The task was mainly to design components, draw new icons, review the color profile and make modules scalable for web/mobile. I also jumped in and supported their concept development of recipe cards in their merchandise flow.Tasks during my assignment:• Collect all the icons used at Coop and get an overview of the design direction they would take after that.• Redraw and simplify icons. Find clearer motifs and develop variation options for different icons.• Design components in auto-layout to simplify the design system.• Make sure that Coop's color profile matches the code that the developers are using. That the colors have the same name and hex code.• Review the possibility of developing the color profile more clearly for their design system and designed sketches and explained different color concepts that Coop could adopt and apply to further clarify the design system.• Review the recipe cards in the product flow and develop a concept that inspires clicking home products/recipes directly in the product/checkout flow.
