I led DEI talent acquisition and development strategies.Built a talent pipeline of 1,000+ diverse candidates through partnerships with ALPFA, Baruch College, Chronically Capable, and other communities. Hired 50 pipeline candidates in 18 months. Developed partnerships with NABJ, NAHJ, AAJA, and NLGJA, increasing the number of diverse applicants. I led an NAHJ panel of journalists and editors to discuss opportunities to increase the number of Hispanics in media. The event highlighted our Hispanic leaders and increased NAHJ job applicants. Created a partnership with Howard University, to reimagine its iconic newspaper, The Hilltop. The teams re-engineered the site, taught digital storytelling to 250+ students and faculty, and identified new revenue streams. Hearst’s pipeline of Howard University talent doubled and graduates were hired across businesses, including into the prestigious Hearst Journalism Fellowship.Led Hearst's partnership with the T.
