David Schannon is a Partner in Bain & Company's San Francisco office. He is an expert in Bain's Performance Improvement practice, with focus in procurement, supply chain, and manufacturing. David formerly led the firm's Procurement practice in the Americas.David has more than 17 years of consulting experience with Bain. He has applied his expertise globally, having worked in multiple geographies including the United States, Australia and China.David is also a people leader and culture carrier at Bain. He leads Bain's Associate Consultant recruiting efforts in the Bay Area, he is a coach and mentor to dozens of junior consultants, he has been a trainer at multiple global training programs, and he leads numerous office team building and community events.Prior to Bain, David earned a Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT.
