With over 30 years of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, I was the Global Director for Single Use Systems and the Proconnex Flow Paths for Repligen Corporation, a leading provider of tangential flow filtration (TFF) and chromatography systems using a single-use format approach. My mission is to now drive process solutions with both any clients membranes as well as system designs and to support the expand global market needs for life science products and technologies for other fabricators as well as end users who need support.I have revolutionized the biopharm market with innovative membrane and system designs positioning and solving Pfizer Covid vaccine ultrafiltration needs which utilized a culmination of my experiences. I have developed products which provides TFF solutions from bench scale to large scale production processes with the Spectrum Laboratories Inc (KR2i, KMPi, KTF, KPS, KML) and have a patent on a sterile single-use TFF cell perfusion system. I have designed and developed the worlds first sterile single use TFF closed loop Proconnex technology for ultrafiltration and microfiltration operations which was put into GMP manufacturing in Cambridge MA. I have also applied membrane clarification techniques using TFDF to achieve higher performance than mechanical or depth separation. I have received the Technology Collaboration Award for my work with Merck on bioprocess intensification of CHO cell culture using TFF as the perfusion strategy. I have a strong track record of business development, capital sales, team building, and coaching, as well as a solid background in biochemistry and business administration. I am passionate about providing solutions to clients globally with membrane technology and harmonizing the capital sales with both upstream and downstream operations.Having worked with many experts globally I am very proud what has and can be accomplished….more to come!
