• A fully accountable senior-level technical expert who can make quick, accurate and trusted decisions for the project teams with regards to engineered technology solutions• Take business needs and turn them into elegant technical solutions• Effectively identify and communicate cross-departmental requirements and associated tasks to the project team and leadership• Work closely with the business unit contacts, technical teams, and project managers; locally, regionally, and globally to derive quality solutions that are timely and cost appropriate ­ Participate in the scoping and delivery of projects to ensure engineered solutions are implemented as designed• Conduct research, cost benefit analysis on proposed software and systems to justify recommendations.• Ability to introduce, assess and deliver process, procedure and technology improvements• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with technology vendors and Partners to confirm recovery objectives are aligned.• Drive day to day problem solving to ensure delivery against project milestones and to minimize project delays• Be a hands-on technical leader that can demonstrate and speak to all levels of the systems being implemented. • Create schematic designs and written descriptions that identify key components, connection types / methods, expected data flows, and data repositories / data types• Support purchasing efforts and aid infrastructure teams in acquiring hardware & software required for the proposed solution.
