I serve a Christian community known as Westside King’s Church that is exploring what it is to be a people who live as recipients of surprising grace. My role in the community is to curate, form and tell weekly stories, ideas, and thoughts about faith, culture, and society via the ancient artistic medium known as the sermon. I’ve worked in churches from my early twenties. I also have been involved in biblical academics for a good chunk of my life with degrees from The University of Manchester (PhD), King’s College London (MA), and The University of Sheffield (BA). I taught New Testament at Mattersey Hall College in the UK for nearly 10 years before moving to Calgary, Alberta.
