Together with a small team, I was responsible for managing the finances of the Gather & Gather Catering division within Mitie FM Ltd. Revenue grew over 100% since I joined the team in 2015. During this time, I played a key role in tendering for and mobilising new contracts. Key points to my current role include managing 20+ contracts of varying sizes and structures, while also liaising with Operations Directors & Managers on all financial and commercial aspects of the above contracts to drive a control environment & profitability.

I worked in the accounts department of a company that has interests including six Eurospar Supermarkets, investment properties and a meat production company. My priorities were managing the accounts of one of the Supermarkets and the holding company while also managing a weekly payroll for over 300 employees. I worked within the finance department of this veterinary pharmaceutical company on a JobBridge scheme. Responsibilities were primarily in relation to accounts payable and included:• Inputting, coding and filing all supplier invoices/credit notes• Liaising with managers to ensure invoices have been appropriately authorised• Processing all supplier payments by electronic banking and other means• Complete bank reconciliation

O’Neill & Brennan is a recruitment agency providing staffing requirements within the construction industry. My primary duty was driving heavy machinery, while I also assisted a wide range of trade persons such as carpenters & plumbers.

Compaq Outsourcing Services provided support to various multinational corporations, of which, I worked with Citibank and Microsoft. This provided valuable experience of working in a matrixed environment. Responsibilities included:• Attending weekly meetings with Compaq & Microsoft Management to discuss service standards.• Compiling weekly and monthly reports to be presented at such meetings. • Analyse data to identify patterns which may be affecting service standards. • Providing technical support to Microsoft staff while also working with Microsoft management to develop strategic plans regarding implementation of new software and upgrades of existing software.• Responsible for the team meeting the high standards set out in the Contract agreed between Microsoft and Compaq management.
