A seasoned entrepreneur, David is a hardworking, detail-oriented professional with over 25 years of experience in the field of information technology. With a background as both a software engineer and an Internet service provider, he has a broad set of skills that position him among the area’s leading experts in Internet marketing, web development and search engine optimization.Graduating from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelors of Science in Automated Systems Engineering, David earned his MBA from Western Michigan University. Recognizing the growing popularity of the Internet in 1995, he founded NetLink Systems, an ISP that provided Internet access, web development and hosting. Responsible for NetLink’s daily operations, including sales and marketing, the company grew to employ 35 professionals before being sold to Voyager.net in 1998.To ensure a smooth transition, David became Voyager.net’s Senior VP of Business Development. During his tenure, the company expanded to employ 525 individuals and serve 340,000 subscribers. In July of 1999, the company launched an IPO and went public, raising $135 million. As a result of management’s efforts, Voyager.net was named the most profitable Internet service provider by ISP Watch in 1999.In 2005, David became an Internet consultant, helping companies implement effective web solutions and marketing strategies. A co-founder of Market Pipeline, one of the area’s largest web development companies, he was in charge of operations and product development until the company merged with his other company Blue Fire Media in 2015.As the founder of Blue Fire Media, David employs a number of technical, creative and marketing professionals. Serving a diverse clientele, he focuses his efforts on providing timely, responsive web solutions to businesses across the country.A resident of Portage, Michigan, David is an Eagle Scout and enjoys spending time with his children, skiing, scouts and attending their soccer events.
