David Silewski leads operations for USI’s North Central Mountain Region, with total written premiums in excess of $50 million. Dave brings over 25 years of insurance experience and leadership skills to his current role at USI (formerly Wells Fargo), where he successfully manages and leads sales strategy, driving new business and customer retention. With a passion for sales leadership, he motivates his staff to grow their revenue and increase profitability. Dave began his career in the insurance industry in 1986, as a Producer with First Bank systems, focused on sales, driving revenue and customer retention. In 1989, he began working with Norwest Insurance overseeing the Valley City, North Dakota location, and ultimately improving their bottom lines. In 2009, he was hired as the managing Director for North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota where his primary responsibilities included: cultivating and qualifying new business opportunities, program development, team structuring, resource identification and deployment, service plan oversight, stewardship reviews, and overall customer relationship management. Mr. Silewski attended Northwest Tech in East Grand Forks, North Dakota, and remains committed to continuing his education by attending advanced level seminars presented by professional insurance education organizations.
