- co-founded the Hope Waddell Society of Music established to promote music education, classical music performance and the documentation and performance of folk music from the South-South region of Nigeria.- Piloted and launched a mentorship programme for upcoming musicians. - Initiated a business development programme that secured $50,000 funding for concerts, training and workshops from individuals, non-profits organizations, corporate bodies as well as orchestral instruments donations. - Interviewed, hired, onboarded and trained more than 50 staff. o Led and supervised the 20 staff promoted as managers of units. o Trained and mentored 15 individual teachers to secondary schools as music teachers and instructors. - Developed and implemented 20 music workshops and training sessions for music teachers and church music directors, yielding a 50% increase in attendance year over year and 40% increase in the number of newly established music groups in the past 10 years. - The high-level strategic planning and execution of projects led to several awards and recognition by the Government. I am currently playing an advisory role in this organization I co-founded. The organization was recently incorporated with the Corporate affairs commission in Nigeria. The Hope Waddell Society of Music under my watch and leadership provided music education to over 2000 young persons in Nigeria. We also established a school of muisc and an orchestra that has assisted lots of young people and adults to practice music. The society is currently documenting and scoring folk music from the South-South region of Nigeria.

Music and Event Programme Manager and Induction Officer - Developed and implemented the Dragon Den’s entrepreneurial programme for students to pitch their business ideas and music concerts in addition to planning already existing school events including international day, sports house sports, international day. o Led a team of 6 staff and was responsible for the planning and implementation of all schools’ events.- Organized quality school events with Increased this led to a 30% increase in parents’ participation and a 60% increase in funding of school events by the management. Teaching - Led whole school music teaching and Prepared weekly plans and activities, homework and carried out assessment to check students’ progress. - Initiated the establishment of a music classroom and purchased music instruments and public address systems for class activities and school events. o This led to an increase, a 20% increase in music engagement and participation from 5% went I started, 2 music concerts, improved students’ output, establishment of an ECA and B+ rating from the Educational Department (ADEK). - Effective teaching strategy, classroom management and an inclusive class environment led to 30% improvement in students’ progress.

Programme Director and Head of Department - Head the creative art department, leading a team of 6 staff and over 300 students. o Interviewed new staff, provided CPDs sessions, chaired meetings and set operational standards to measure KPIs. o 40% increase in students’ participation in art. o Interviewed, negotiated payment of support staff. Chief programme Officer (Events) - Initiated and implemented four (4) new school events including art exhibition, science fair, music concerts and fun fair in addition to the international day and inter house sports that already existed and negotiated contracts with support staff. This led to a 30% increase in parents’ participation and community involvement, a 200% increase in funding of school events and 80% increase participation year over year. o Increased from 2 events a year to quarterly events with increased participation from students and parents. Teaching - Prepared weekly plans and activities, homework and carried out assessment to check students’ progress. Students’ progress and involvement in creative art improved by 30% after the 1st year and doubled after with most students registering for music in IGCSE. - Established a school orchestra, band and choir and trained and mentored 4 students who served as leaders. - Extracurricular programme for voice and instruments. This led to an increase in participation with 50% of the students having their individual instruments. - Effective classroom management and an inclusive class environment led to my being awarded as the best specialist teacher.

- Conceptualised and founded this organization from ideation to execution. - Hired, trained and mentored a team of 20 youth volunteers and 10 paid staff to ensure the actualisation of the objectives of the organization. o Led a team of volunteers and professionals that have trained and sent to schools to promote music education in schools and churches. This led to the establishment of 6 creative clubs in secondary schools and 60% increase in participation during our weekends and summer programmes and the training of more than 3000 youths on creative art skills including drawing, music production, etc. - Promoted music education in Partnership with the Cross River State Government leading to the establishment of youth’s camps to engage young people. This led to the organization participation at the British Council training for organization involve in the creative industries. - Partnered with individual sponsors to provide scholarships to ten indigents but talented children to support the pursuit of their academic and music programmes in the University. Discovery is a non-profit organization foundation and a part of the creative industry community in Nigeria. We have trained and impacted over 3000 young people through training and exposure to stage performances. We were elected to be a part of the British Council Nigeria training for creative industries.
