Fully designed and implemented an automated testing and validation suite for the teams existing PC cluster simulation. It allowed team members to quickly and effortlessly test defects and perform overnight sanity checks to make sure that previously closed defects don’t get broken and reopened. The testing suite uses browser automation software to control the cluster, then reads user-written input XML files (written in a syntax of my own design) and gets information using GUIs. After inputs are sent screenshots are taken of the cluster and compared to existing reference images. Results are generated on a nicely formatted HTML page.
