Architecture Lead
CurrentI'm the Lead Architect at GravityLab, using the latest technology to solve business issues and help companies scale. For GravityLab, I've: - helped the business grow from 3 people to almost 30 - Assisted in becoming a world leading B Corp company (top 10% in the world for 2022). - Implemented modern engineering practices in a Salesforce context, such as setting up a CICD practice for all clients we work with. - Helped develop declarative tools that we've made public, and which are now used by companies such as Coke and Salesforce. - Provided mentoring for the internal team, as well as new Salesforce users trying to get into the ecosystem. Recent client work I've done includes:- Tech Lead/Product manager for an Azure/Heroku based social media scraper to identify and reach out to at-risk youth. This project won a CIO award.- CTO consulting, including writing technology road maps, code reviews and IT strategic planning.- Tech Lead for a Salesforce community with integrated RealMe authentication and secure pre-filled enrollment forms.- Multiple Salesforce Community builds.- Multiple API integrations, including Salesforce, Vend, Unleashed, Retail Express, Wordpress, Heroku, Rezdy, Moodle. - Implemented Amazon Connect for a well-known Kiwi energy company.Customers I've worked in an architectural capacity include Auckland Unlimited, Wellington Zoo, Flick Electric, Panasonic, Retail NZ, Scouts NZ, Duke of Edinburgh NZ, AU, and Canada, TIC, Fergus, Crimson Education, and more. I've presented at multiple Salesforce events, most recently focusing on how to enable integrations for SME's. I'm also one of the leaders of the Salesforce Auckland Developer User Group.Alongside that, the hard skills I utilise daily include APEX, CSS, Lightning Components, Lightning Design Systems, Visualforce, Flows and Process Builders, Lightning Web Components, External Services, and APIs.
