Twenty-five years experience as a professional librarian with numerous transferable skills. As the Director of the Conway Public Library for nearly ten years, I have chartered the course of a busy, dynamic and high functioning public library. Grant writing, project management, and information management as well as outstanding written and oral communication skills are at the core of my skill set. I manage a staff of 8 and am responsible for three budgets totaling over 600K. I am also responsible for the management of our facility, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Managing multiple projects and being able to prioritize work flow are hallmarks of my career. I have developed numerous strategic partnerships over the years, including relationships with the Gibson Center for Senior Services, Conway Area Humane Society, and the White Mountain Science Institute.
