I believe steadfastly that the Human Resources group should be a microcosm of, and prototype for the culture to be modeled for the entire organization and am confident in my ability to inspire and lead a top HR team to do its best work supporting the organization's success.Throughout my career as an HR Business Partner leading to SVP, Global Human Resources at Simon & Schuster, a billion-dollar global top three publishing house, I have demonstrated an excellent ability to lead professionals across all HR functions. These include talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, total rewards, learning and development, DEIB and organizational development incorporating multidimensional change management tools. On the HR Operations side, I have led implementation of the full suite of tools including HCM system configurations, domestic and international rewards and payroll administration, plus all ancillary provider data flows supporting world class health and wellness offerings. My experience developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals resulted in outstanding employee engagement at S&S, as evidenced by top quartile Gallup survey results for the last five years and sub 5% voluntary turnover rates. These achievements supported outstanding organizational efficiency, performance and record profitability.Since 2019 I led a top performing team of 28 HR professionals through the most transformative time for the corporation since the 1980’s; comprising the merger of parent CBS Broadcasting into Paramount, the transition to hybrid work, two sales of Simon & Schuster and finally the establishment of S&S as a stand-alone company for the first time in nearly fifty years. Through each of these wholistic transformations I led the development and execution of initiatives that stabilized the workforce globally, enhanced the employee experience and fostered an industry leading workplace culture.
