Description: Led the design of a biomass water-tube boiler capable of generating 391 kg of steam per hour for the essential oil biofactory, as part of the “Bio-Reto XXI 15:50” project in collaboration with CENIVAM. * Designed a boiler operating efficiently at a maximum pressure of 80 psi, incorporating D-type tubes and a traveling grate system for the Lippia origanoides distillation process.* Developed auxiliary systems, including primary and secondary air supply, water softening, and gas burner integration.* Created monitoring and control systems to optimize boiler performance.* Generated comprehensive 3D CAD models and manufacturing, assembly, and installation drawings.* Collaborated in report preparation, weekly progress meetings, and information exchange with interdisciplinary teams.Project Overview: The “Bio-Reto XXI 15:50” project aims to strengthen Colombia's bioeconomy through the development of 15 bioproducts from 50 plant species, supported by the World Bank and led by the Colombian Ministry of Science, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Commerce.CENIVAM: National Research Centre for the Agro industrialization of Aromatic Plant Species and Tropical Medicines.
