I founded the School for CEOs with Patrick Macdonald, the former CEO of John Menzies plc to fill a gap in the executive education market.The School for CEOs is a practioner led organisation that runs programmes such as the Vital Few, Runway and Leadership Series aimed at preparing aspiring CEOs and executives for the top job or positions on Executive Committees. Programmes are taught by an experienced faculty of teachers who hold or have held the top jobs in business - the programmes are therefore highly practical and focussed on drawing the learnings from real life experiences.Programmes are supported by coaching and the School for CEOs also has a hand picked team of experienced coaches who can deliver other coaching programmes for senior leaders.

I have been an executive coach since the beginning of 2001, working 1 to 1 with senior executives across a wide range of sectors and functions. I have also developed 'onboarding' and 'career transition coaching' programmes for leaders which, while bespoke, are more formulaic than my approach to conventional executive coaching programmes. These have proved to be very successful in supporting executives to 'bed in' to new organisations and find their next challenge(s). I have extensive experience in designing and facilitating team development workshops and strategy events for senior leadership teams in organisations.
