It is the largest and most multidisciplinary university in Israel. AFTAU supports TAU’s vital role in changing lives that change the world. For four decades we have enthusiastically pursued the advancement of TAU in the world by raising money, awareness and influence. We serve as a dynamic bridge between two inspired communities — Australian and Israeli.From a business perspective I am a Start-up Strategist with experience in a breadth of roles covering directorship, business management, strategic and operational consulting, business coaching, mentoring, leadership, executive search and philanthropy. This includes 15 years providing consulting & coaching to entrepreneurs and corporates and personally launching 5 successful start-ups. Prior experience in international executive search and running a Human Resources outsourcing business.On the personal side I’ve had just one wife for 40 years and we have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren. Jewish House services include a counselling centre, crisis accommodation, a telephone crisis line, care coordination, group therapy sessions and information forums.The overall objective of this contract role was to add strength and robustness to Jewish House to position the organisation for the future, in addition to taking responsibility for certain functions as determined to support the CEO, plus investigate new business opportunities. -

I pioneered working with paradigm-breaking entrepreneurs at the start-up stages of their business – “Upstarts” - by mentoring, commercialising and bringing their ventures to market. This allowed me to develop great communication, coaching and conceptual skills which I still use today. As an Executive Producer with 5 am Films / Onwaecan Media the role I played was to understand and help guide the nuances and idiosyncrasies of an artistic based business and a brilliant and highly creative individual. Having a parallel life in the performing arts helped!

Funding was obtained via the Federal Government’s Small Business Entrepreneurship Programme, thus there was no cost to participants.
