I have been a Chartered RTPI Town Planner since 2013 and have over 10 years planning experience in the private sector.I manage the preparation and submission of a broad range and scale of planning applications in all sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare and retail. I provide strategic planning advice, undertaking specific site appraisals and dealing with Local Plan representations.I have recent and up-to-date experience of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Listed Building Consents, Prior Approval applications, Housing Land Supply calculations and CIL mitigation advice.I have a strong understanding of the legislative framework within which the planning system operates and am able to practically apply this.Experience:Preparation of full / outline / RM planning applications;Preparation of S73s / NMAs / discharge of conditions applications;Co-ordination and liaison of project teams - leading multi-disciplinary development teams from the initial concept through to the delivery of planning permission;Liaison with clients / Council officers / stakeholders / statutory consultees, including negotiating S106s;Promoting sites via representations towards Local / Development Plan documents, resulting in strategic allocations;Advising on strategic and project specific planning matters - providing advice and strategies to achieve the most effective route through the planning process;Dealing with and providing solutions to complex planning issues;Attendance and presentation at Steering Group meetings / Public Consultations / stakeholder engagement;Presentation at Planning Committee;Appeals at a Written Representation, Informal Hearing and Public Inquiry level;A thorough understanding of national and local policies, as well as the technical aspects of the planning and development process.
