Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers of geospatial data in the US to acquire data for integration into the database by local teams and production centers. Mostly focused on road center line and address data as well as administrative boundaries, building footprints, cartography and POI information. Transit feeds, Probe data, and many other types of static and dynamic data. Attend regional and national conferences and industry events to represent HERE and develop new sources of data. Use Project Mgmt and Customer Relationship Mgmt software to catalogue and track all data acquisitions in the region and contact information for use across multiple departments globally. Work with Product Management and Planning teams to assist in development of new products and adhere to maintenance schedules for existing location services.Contract negotiation, purchasing, budgeting and resource allocation during contract approval process in collaboration with with Accounting, Finance, and Legal departments.

Build relationships with numerous agencies to acquire data on an ongoing basis. -Acquire data for specific HERE products in all phases from research through acquisition, ensuring key details are tracked and entered in an internal database. - Track incoming data and handoff to the appropriate teams; communicate updates to stakeholders in a timely manner. - Understand and help shape best practices for how we solicit GIS data products and metadata information from qualified sources and help maintain guidelines and train others. - Understand HERE's data licensing terms and be able to communicate those to the potential suppliers to ensure full use rights; interface with legal liaison to ensure legal agreements are completed. - Maintain high-level understanding of HERE’s product roadmap and help execute scalable content acquisition programs (e.g. marketing programs) and communication. - Support and use key business infrastructure tools that capture metrics and performance. - Establish performance goals and self-monitor to achieve individual and corporate objectives. - Work collectively with the team on certain projects and provide relevant contributions on a daily or weekly basis to support achievement of team goals. -Attend and promote HERE at industry related GIS conferences and events -Actively support global sourcing strategies and work in a team environment to promote a long term sourcing goals.
