I won the Seat 1 on the Lake Butler, Florida City Commission. The decision to run for office stemmed from my many years as an avid volunteer and community supporter, and I felt I may be able to do more as a commissioner. I appreciate the city staff, and feel fortunate to be on the city commission with a group of fellow community-minded individuals.• • • • • • • • • • • •Southeastern Regional Distribution Center Manager - Horizon GlobalSeptember 9, 1996 - Began career at Draw-Tite Hitch CompanyNow known as Horizon Global Americas, I started in the role of customer service when our company had small customer service call centers available at our regional distribution centers. In this role, I managed customer calls, order entry, processing and managing files. I stepped up to become the office manager in 2001. This position involved my previous daily tasks as well as obtaining a knowledge of management responsibilities for the distribution center. In 2006, I was promoted to the Assistant Distribution Center Manager position. I continued to work closely with the current manager at the time, learning the operations of our facility and in September 2007 I was promoted to the role of Distribution Center Manager, following the retirement of my predecessor. The transition was seamless, due to the knowledge I had acquired over the years. I was also fortunate to inherit a very knowledgeable team, and together we work towards our goal of customer satisfaction. Through the years, I have managed through the changes of mergers and a spin-off. The one constant is that the Starke, Florida Distribution Center always adapted and continued to offer our customers the best in service. On July 1, 2015, the company became a stand-alone company known as Horizon Global Americas. As always, my goals remain the same, to continue supporting my team and striving to be the best at what we do. I believe in the value of teamwork and ensuring my team is offered the opportunity to learn and grow to excel. As a team, we maintain an accurate, lean inventory. Our operations are maintained within budget. • • • • • • • • • •
