AdministratorWorking Together Specialist Care Agency Aug 2003 - Mar 2007WalsallDay-to-day running of a busy home care sector business which dealt with vulnerable adults and clients alike. Duties included taking incoming calls from Staff, Service Users and Social Services. I took referrals from Social Services around the Walsall region for clients on a daily basis and cross-referenced our availability with my senior management. All details had to be perfect as it gave staff an insight into what the client would be like and what their needs were; effective communication was the corner stone of the business.Computerized office documents were devised by me within the company using all Microsoft products to keep up with the ever changing alterations of paperwork. Application forms and client packs were immediately put together upon receipt of a new client or staff member in the right order, with the correct forms in place.Letters of success and regret regarding positions within the company were also one my tasks and they had to be sealed and posted at the end of each working day as well as backing up all files and the dealing of petty cash. Computer files were updated every week whether it was staff, clients or invoices and then backed up onto discs for the security of all individuals. I processed invoices weekly ready for their dispatch to clients. Excellent attention to detail was a priority and multitasking was always at the forefront of a day’s work.I attended disciplinary meetings and took notes on everything mentioned within the meeting as a backup for my manager.
