Agile Coach for the BT Digital and Innovation group. Part of the leadership team, and responsible for leading several Agile and DevOps change initiatives across all teams within the group.* Set-up the BT Engineering meet-ups to encourage sharing and collaboration between all engineers in BT.* Created a “Shift Test Left” group to solve BT Digital test automation challenges.* Advised the CIO, Linda da Silva, on portfolio decisions for the BT Digital and Innovation group.* Defined the test automation strategy in partnership with the test lead for BT Digital, using technologies such as React, Typescript, React Testing library, Jest, & Jenkins; with Java Spring Boot for Microservices & RESTful API’s.

The Agile Coach for seven Scrum teams within the Institutional Business Banking Digital platform. Led a set of DevOps initiatives to encourage close collaboration between delivery and operations teams, while introducing tools that support a more automated approach to operations. Provided long-term guidance and mentoring to the leadership group and Scrum Masters within IBB Digital.* Worked alongside ThoughtWorks training and coaching teams in CD and XP, using AngularJS, Protractor & Jenkins. * Promoted into the CommBiz Leadership team to drive agility and engineering maturity.* Inspired and led a team to the finals of the ES hackathon.* Spoke on DevOps at Agile Australia.

Around one hundred people were carved out of the company and tasked with creating a startup managed solution business with a new cloud platform. I initially led and was accountable for one team, then expanded to build an additional three teams alongside an NTT Data account manager. Over time, I also assumed engineering manager responsibilities.* IaaS platform built using CloudStack, Java, Spring, Javascript, Ruby, PostgreSQL and TeamCity.* Trained developers in BDD, TDD and Continuous Delivery, which resulted in a one click deployment into production offline and a one click cutover to live; in an ISO 27001 compliant environment.* Promoted DevOps approach ensuring that the Spanish and UK teams shared operational ownership.

Helped build a digital platform for sky.com, serving 10 million customers, using Javascript, Java, Spring, PostreSQL and Jenkins.* Started as the first hire and performed all technical interviews to build out the team to ten engineers. * Hands on coaching of developers in TDD, pair programming, user stories, planning and estimation techniques.* We delivered www.sky.com to one million unique users a day with five nines availability.* 100+ successful weekly releases of the Sky homepage into production running on a full DevOps model.* Presented the application architecture and design at the 2010 Grails Conference in London.
