As a describer, I create narratives for blind and low-vision audiences of TV and movies, matching the tone and pacing of the program with clear and accurate descriptions that provide an inclusive experience. This requires attention to detail, creative writing skills, and research on a wide variety of topics that relate to each project. As a PPS, I also edit the work of newer describers, providing feedback as they learn the conventions of audio description; and I oversee the recording process, guiding the voice actors through their performances, and delivering the mixed files to clients on a variety of platforms.

I produce and host a podcast called "Dates With a Jesus Gay" about the coming out stories of LGBT Christians. The show is supported by Patreon, and we have a small but dedicated and growing following. My goal is to share a steady stream of stories from the queerly faithful, opening hearts and minds to God's work in the lives of LGBT folks.

Facilitated communication between control room and studio floor, ensured all talent and crew were in place and on time (and that the talent is comfortable), and ran the teleprompter as needed.

Produced video content from start to finish to promote events, illustrate sermons, and tell members' stories.
