The projects I work on vary from the occasional small domestic extensions & single dwellings, to new build schools, care homes & major housing sites.My primary role within the companies estimating department centres around the larger projects, often where the initial details are vague & a full design would be time consuming & unproductive based on the drawings provided to us.Works are then priced on a square metre basis based on the varying spans of floor beams required, the data is then input into a spreadsheet that I have personally developed in order to provide the client with a quotation.If the client is successful with their tender & subsequently places an order with ourselves, I then carry out a full design upon receipt of construction issue drawings using our bespoke design programme, Winfloor. I work hard to establish lasting relationships with clients, building up a friendly but professional rapport through a combination of accurate pricing, prompt designs & revisions & an excellent product knowledge.
