I wrote regular features and breaking news stories for the newspaper, and edited The Australian’s online technology section.

I’m part of AirTree’s Explorer program, which aims to foster an active, vibrant and world-class angel investor community in Australia and New Zealand through education, networks, and funds to invest. I'm not investing... just learning (and having a bunch of fun also).

I conducted interviews with local and international artists, penning FasterLouder's 'In the Firing Line' column which was all about hard-hitting conversations that often broke news worldwide. Some of my interviews were picked up by the likes of Pitchfork and NME. I also occasionally reviewed shows and albums.

I wrote news stories and features on a daily basis, conducting interviews and subediting stories before uploading them directly to the iTWire back-end. The pieces vary from straight tech news stories to opinion pieces and gadget reviews, I would often attend conferences and functions on behalf of iTWire.My daily workload was largely self-directed and I.

I worked as a sub-editor at Korea's biggest English language newspaper for four weeks, primarily dealing with the spelling and grammar of stories but also some layout.

I was the Editor of RMIT's student publication Catalyst, with a circulation of around 8,000. It involved writing stories and features, editing, liasing back and forth with contributors and a bit of layout and design work with Adobe InDesign.

As one of only two students on RMIT's University Council I attended bi-monthly meetings involving RMIT's Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor among others and was heavily involved in decisions that had lasting impacts on both RMIT itself and the higher education sector more broadly.

I ran RMIT's peak student organization, representing 75,000 students worldwide. It involved managing 20+ full-time employees as well as organising parties and events for thousands of uni students, and handling a budget of over two million dollars, while liasing with numerous stakeholder groups.
