With over 30 years of progressive international experience in the in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) industry, I am a seasoned leader and strategist who has successfully led and supported various initiatives in M&A (buy-side and sell-side), fundraising, business and strategic development, licensing, international sales, marketing, and sales channel management. I have extensive knowledge of, and networks within, domestic and international markets for IVD devices, and a proven track record of delivering value and growth for diverse organizations, from global corporations to angel/VC-funded start-ups. As the Chief Commercial Officer at Avacta, I am part of a dynamic and experienced management team responsible for driving the growth and innovation of the Diagnostics Division, which develops and supplies a broad range of IVD solutions for healthcare professionals. Since joining Avacta in 2019, we have overseen the acquisition of Launch Diagnostics and Coris BioConcept, two strategic moves that have expanded our product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, and market reach. I have also established and managed key partnerships and collaborations with industry players, regulators, and stakeholders, and contributed to the commercial assessment and launch of new IVD products and technologies. Our mission is to build a global scale IVD business that provides market leading solutions that inform treatment and monitor health and well-being.
