The Yu Ying Board held its first Growth Committee meeting in three years after review of the enrollment and financial performance and compliance over the last 10 years. The Finance Committee reviewed a detailed financial model and identified a growth path for the school to grow from the 570 student/$12 million budget towards 1,000 student/$20 million budget. I withdrew my candidacy as Head of School after the Director of Operations went on maternity leave without any new interim resources. All students and staff were tested weekly for covid19. All students were also eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch through the pandemic.

Yew Chung has over 10,000 Nursery to College students and 20 campuses in Asia plus one entity with two campuses in Mountain View, California. This California school has incredible potential for the Pre-School that has been one of the best Pre-Schools among all Yew Chung and Yew Hua campuses. This shows the strength and resilience of the leadership at the Pre-School that has increased enrollment through the pandemic.
