Since 2010 I've worked to provide technical solutions to small businesses, churches, and non-profits, leading the engineering team at Servant 42 / PC Help Services. I love working with our technicians to provide the best technology support, project design and implementation, networking and configuration services to our customers. Pulling technology together into a solution that helps customers work more efficiently and easily is fun and enjoyable, and always challenging. In 2017, I purchased the organization and continue to run it as the CEO with an excellent team, including President Kevin Falls!In 2021, we launched a sister company to Servant 42, Servant Voice, in order to help customers with great business phone service over the internet (VoIP) with extensive features, redundancy and superb support. Whether you're stuck on old copper phone lines or just working with a big vendor with impersonal support, we can fix that.Prior to Servant 42 / PC Help Services, I worked at a church full-time for over 6 years supporting all areas of technology and building a well-rounded skill set, encompassing many technologies from servers to desktops and honing customer service skills.I grew up playing with and learning about technology, and while working for the church I became a niche blogger (talking about Church Information Technology) for a couple years starting in 2007 (I'd done other blogging several years prior) and I really enjoyed sharing cool tech tips and tricks with a growing number of readers. I was able to build my writing and communication experience, and many of my posts are still found and read to this day. I haven't blogged regularly for a while as I've been otherwise occupied but I still stay connected with many friends in church IT positions through blogs, roundtables, and conferences.Other specific IT interests include cryptography and computer and network security, wireless networking, databases, and software usability.
