Local Manager At Latam Shared Service Centre

 Responsible for the Accounting Department, Accounts Payable and embedded Human Resources functions for all Latin America and certain USA locations (22 countries). Led a team of 60 people in 2014 (starting with 28 people in early 2013). Reported to London Headquarters. Coordinated and led the recruiting process of more than 30 people in order to achieve the right headcount to meet the growing needs of the Latam market. Conducted 100 plus interviews to recruit managers, supervisors and analysts. Successfully led the “Back to Business as Usual” process of the Accounts Payables regional teams and the Balance Sheet teams with backlogs pending since 2007 including updating the bank accounts, balance sheet and fixed assets accounts and developing the related controls . Coordinated the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting end closing of 46 legal entities as well as the Accounts Payables monthly closing for those entities. Designed and coordinated the relocation of the whole team in BT’s Wilde plant, Buenos Aires province. Redesigned, implemented and conducted quarterly performance reviews for the team.  Coordinated labor relations with my team and with the union.
