 Responsible for the Accounting Department, Accounts Payable and embedded Human Resources functions for all Latin America and certain USA locations (22 countries). Led a team of 60 people in 2014 (starting with 28 people in early 2013). Reported to London Headquarters. Coordinated and led the recruiting process of more than 30 people in order to achieve the right headcount to meet the growing needs of the Latam market. Conducted 100 plus interviews to recruit managers, supervisors and analysts. Successfully led the “Back to Business as Usual” process of the Accounts Payables regional teams and the Balance Sheet teams with backlogs pending since 2007 including updating the bank accounts, balance sheet and fixed assets accounts and developing the related controls . Coordinated the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting end closing of 46 legal entities as well as the Accounts Payables monthly closing for those entities. Designed and coordinated the relocation of the whole team in BT’s Wilde plant, Buenos Aires province. Redesigned, implemented and conducted quarterly performance reviews for the team.  Coordinated labor relations with my team and with the union. Determined salary bans and salary ranges.

 Led activities of three teams of six, five and two associates directed by one Supervisor each one (sixteen people in total). Coordinated Financial Statements, Controls, Asset Management, Investment Funds and other Auditing activities and processes for large US companies such as Bank of America, JP Morgan, and mutual funds like Franklin. Developed, coached and trained supporting staff. Conducted interviews and assessment centers (recruiting activities) Conducted reviewing activities for tasks performed by the group. Analyzed statistics and Reported to Partners and Directors. Participated in projects developed in Tampa, FL, USA.

Acted as consultant in Managerial and Budgeting Control for Alimental S.A., a Provimi Group company, worldwide market leader in animal nutrition; and acted as independent Accounting Consultant as well.

 Directed work team activities’ of groups of six, ten and eleven Accounting analysts. Supported Accounting activity for the U.S. Downstream Business (43% of ExxonMobil’s worldwide Oil Business Net Profit). Successfully completed seven-month workshadowing experience in the U.S.A (Houston, TX and Dallas, TX).  Performed Reporting, Custody of Assets, General and Intercompany Accounting, Budgeting Control and Key Performance Indicators. Coordinated HR embedded functions for teams under my responsibility. Implemented control framework for crude oil accounting activities. Developed experience in SAP system.

Responsible for Custody, Reporting and all phases of general accounting in multiple currencies (Argentine GAAP, US GAAP & Brazilian GAAP) with assets for U$S 1,100 million and U$S 1,900 million revenue. Trained and developed supporting staff (Coaching). Directed a 5 analyst’s staff including 2 Senior Analysts. Directed communication and developed tasks with internal and external auditors. Reported to U.S. SEC, Buenos Aires Stock Exchange and ‘Mercado Abierto Electrónico’. Successfully led design and implementation of administrative circuits (J.D. Edwards).  Reduced time of reporting from 12 business days to 5 business days. Developed monthly financial statements for 13 businesses in Refining and Petrochemicals for budgeting control and introduced new intercompany circuits. Conducted Business presentations. Participated in the issuing of a U$S200 million offering of Medium Term Notes (Issuer: PASA S.A.). Actively participated in the merger of PASA S.A. and Refinería San Lorenzo S.A. with Petrobras Energía S.A.
