David Talbot founded multidisciplinary consultancy Platform in January 2018, after more than 20 years’ experience in the architectural sector. He has worked in architectural studios in London, Ireland and South Africa, across a broad range of sectors. David’s experience includes 15 years at leading architecture firm dhk Architects as an Associate Director, leading teams working on a diverse portfolio of work throughout South Africa including high-rise offices, residential developments, luxury hotels and private residences. His architectural experience covers the full scope of work, from project inception, feasibility, design, implementation and completion, to post completion services. In addition to an architectural degree from CPUT, David also has a post-graduate degree in Property Studies from UCT. He is a Green Star SA Professional accredited with the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) and a registered EDGE Expert and has provided sustainability services on a wide range of development projects.
