Responsibilites include the filing of sales/use, business personal property, franchise, annual reports, motor fuel and VAT returns for the US and Canadian operations.

Primary area of tax was SALT work. Assisted clients in the preparation of monthly sales/use tax filings. Assisted clients that were going through sales/use tax audits, acted as the primary contact person with the state auditor. Identified and assisted clients with the implementation of opportunities to reduce business personal property taxes. Prepared.

Primary responsibilities included the handling of sales/use tax audits, analyzing fixed asset purchases for "use" tax accruals and gathering monthly sales data that was provided to a public accounting firm that processed the monthly sales tax return filings. Developed a process to reduce Diebold's tax exposure on parts consumed or sold as part of optional.

Worked as a tax consultant in the area of State & Local Tax. Managed a sales/use tax outsourcing practice that consisted of 5 clients. Also worked on business personal property tax engagements to assist clients in reducing property taxes as well as recover overpayments due to over reporting the value of assets.
