About David Tenerelli, Cfp®, Csric®

In my work as a financial planner, I find purpose in helping clients cultivate personal and collective thriving while better aligning their money with their personal values and supporting the just transition to a more more sustainable, democratic economy.Part of that work is helping folks uncover their money stories and money beliefs, and understanding how those beliefs are shaped by relationships and systemic forces. I'm interested in joyfully challenging the ethos (and mythos) of separation and scarcity that is imposed by the dominant systems in which our financial lives operate, allowing us to open to interdependence and abundance.I find fulfillment in participating (and helping others participate) in what Joanna Macy calls the Great Turning. That means shifting ways of being towards economic systems that support flourishing for all humans and the more-than-human world, while respecting planetary boundaries. That means doing my part to help shift the financial services industry towards a mindset of abundance in service to life, community, and justice, while helping people move towards personal and collective financial security.
