Our portfolio includes a wide range of RE projects: from utility scale solar, like the 50 MegaWatt Valle Solar in Honduras, to off-grid solar for households in rural Kenya. We have provided working capital loans, project debt and project equity as well as doing the world's first securitization of off-grid solar homes systems.The renewable energy unit contributes to Oikocredit's triple bottom line of financing organizations and projects that are financially sustainable, create a positive social impact for disadvantaged people and protect the environment.
