I founded LeaderHeart to fill a need among church and ministry workers who lacked access to psychological, emotional and spiritual support in their complex roles. Whilst training in Elijah House's therapeutic advanced pastoral care healing modality, I was asked to take on a position as GM for Australia. The office had a handful of part-time staff and around 200 volunteers across Australia. Under direction of the Board I was tasked to manage the BAU team while assessing and updating the training delivery and direction. As business manager I was responsible for all staff and operations. LOEX was a digital signage startup that gained funding to install and provide digital signage systems into supermarkets. I was tasked as the General Manager, overseeing several staff, contractors in all areas of the business. Unfortunately, the business folded as the GFC hit Australia - especially the advertising sector.

I moved to Tokyo for 18 months with wife and daughter. I worked part-time as a business english teacher and later became the manager of the business english school. Some of our clients included ING Insurance, GE and others. I was also volunteering as a media director for a local international bilingual church in Tokyo. We returned to Australia to have our 2nd child.
