In addition to my teaching positions, I have coached basketball and also led/participated in many Professional Developmental activities. These include:**Professional Development/Inservice (examples)-21st Century Teaching Strategies (Inservice)-Using Web 2.0, 3.0 tools; Virtual Reality, Game Engines, Alexa (VUI), 360 Cameras -STEM Teaching (PD Conference, Sparcc, 2014): Using Drones, Coding, Google Apps for Ed, Google Classroom-Google Classroom (Inservice): How to use Google Classroom and incorporate it into your class; Google Apps for Students; Teach all students how to use their Google Drive and Apps; -Google Apps for Education - Staff: How to use Google Apps; Drive, Docs, Slides, etc.-Using Google Cardboard (VR) in the Classroom ; Using Virtual reality and Coding in the classroom**Scholarships/Grants-Fulbright Japan Teacher Exchange Recipient (2019); Hilo, Hawaii - 15 US Teachers, 15 Japanese Teachers collaborate and create lessons to teach students from both countries.-EIG GAR Grant Recipient (2017) - $15,000; VR in STEM Classroom - Students use Virtual Reality for 3D Modeling, Printing and program VR apps using Game Engines (Unity, Unreal).-EIG GAR Grant Recipient (2015) - $14,500; Aerospace Prototyping and Modeling - 3D Modeling and Printing of Aerospace models designed by students and testing/modifying models for wind tunnel tests-Advanced Space Academy for Educators - Honeywell Hometown Solutions, 2007; Attend Adv.
