Increased membership in legacy society from 41 to 65 members. Oversaw estate gifts and solicited current gifts that raised funds totaling over $17 million over seven years. Reinvigorated charitable gift annuity program that generated 13 annuities with gifts totaling over $352,000 in seven years. Deepened outreach to selected regional estate and financial planning professionals. Planned, initiated, and managed a comprehensive planned giving program for a mission-driven world-class zoo and conservation center. Established legacy society that increased from one dozen to 199 members. Oversaw estate and current giving that raised reserve and endowment funds totaling $7.6 million over 8 years. Initiated a charitable gift annuity program that generated 21 gift annuities with gifts of over $872,000 in five years. Established and managed volunteer committees to cultivate planned giving prospects and increase communications with estate planning professionals. Developed and presented a two-hour charitable estate-planning seminar in PowerPoint.

Planned and implemented all fundraising and public relations functions of this non-profit social service agency serving over 450 children and adults with developmental disabilities. Directed programs including; annual appeals, capital campaigns, events, corporation and foundation grant requests, planned giving, annual reports, brochures, audio-visual production, and media releases. Directed expansion efforts over a thirteen-year period, raising the percentage of fundraising income from 2.5 to 5.0% of the annual budget, as the budget tripled. Raised over $4 million. Directed public relations efforts that resulted in several first place awards for an annual report, a sound-slide production and a brochure. Managed a staff of three and sixteen volunteer groups comprised of 380 volunteers.

Administered a residential facility serving seventy adults with mental retardation with an annual budget of $1.5 million. Directed eight department heads that, in turn, managed 100 employees. Departments included nursing, developmental training, dietary, clerical and maintenance. Instituted policies and procedures that met or exceeded standards of all reviewing agencies.

Designed and conducted staff training. Coordinated and developed treatment programs for residents with developmental disabilities. Case manager for individual residents. Managed team/shift supervisors.
