I lead the product function at Better Shelter.Responsible for setting the product strategy and implementing the product road map. I lead the development team through analysis, pre-studies, concept and design phases, construction, testing and product launch. I work closely with humanitarian partners to help address issues in humanitarian responses through design and innovation. Better Shelter is a humanitarian non profit organization based in Sweden. We started as a small social enterprise in 2010, in partnership with UNHCR and the IKEA foundation, with a big mission dedicated to sheltering displaced persons with safety, dignity and hope on their path towards a more stable life in a permanent home of their own.Better Shelter develops, produces, distributes and supports partners with shelter solutions that can be used as temporary shelters in humanitarian responses due to wars and natural disasters. We work closely with leading UN agencies, INGOs, NGOs, civil societies, philanthropic foundations and academia to develop these solutions further and create impact for the people we serve.
