Human Resource Manager
CurrentResponsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all activities of Human Resources for the Head Start and Early Head Start programs.Responsible for developing Human Resource goals and objectives and systems for implementation.Creates and updates job descriptions as necessary.Monitors and tracks performance evaluation system. Updates and revises as needed.Administers Head Start and Early Head start recruitment effort for all exempt, non-exempt, and temporary personnel.Responsible for coordinating and decision making for the interviewing and selection of qualified candidates.Oversees prescreening of potential hires, ensuring timely completion and adherence to ODJFS Licensing regulations, Head Start Performance Standards and other applicable laws.Conducts new employee orientation.Established good employee relations. Ensures internal investigation and/or complaint procedures are followed according to policy.Established and maintains department records and reports. Participates in administrative staff meetings.Maintains the table of organization for the Head Start and Early Head Start program.Evaluates reports, decisions and results in terms of Human Resource goals and objectives. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to promote continual improvement.Serves as a resource point for managers and supervisors in regards to Human Resource related questions/issues.Oversees company policies/procedures and ensures they are administered in a fair and consistent manner.Develops, recommends, and implements new personnel policies and procedures as needed.Performs benefit administration including new employee enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting. Reviewing and approving invoices.
