As a Principal and the sector leader for Urban Design at Hassell, David’s experience spans many large-scale urban design and master planning projects across Asia, Australia and the US. Recent projects in Sydney include the Pyrmont Peninsula Place Strategy, Aerotropolis precinct planning, and master plans for Edmondson Park, Waterloo Metro Quarter and the Summer Hill Flour Mill. David is a NSW state design review panellist and a trusted advisor to state and local government on urban regeneration and resilience strategies.As Cultural Engagement lead at Hassell, David is also responsible for deepening the practice's cultural understanding and competency, strengthening partnerships within industry and supporting Country-centred design processes. He is responsible for delivering the practice's Innovate RAP.
