ResponsibilitiesContribute as an early hire to this start-up automotive company in building capability within the embedded controls function. Responsibilities:Participation in architecture packaging studies to provide technical expertise and resolve potential thermal issues.Develop validation test plans comprehending technical requirements, vehicle availability and facility capacity.Install and configure data acquisition equipment, including OBD-II CAN messaging.Execution of vehicle testing for verification of overall thermal system performance achieves requirements. NATA signatory for ADR 69/00, ADR 72/00 and ADR 73/00.Development of work instructions for full-vehicle crash tests in accordance with legislative and product development requirements.Coordination and supervision of test preparation and execution.Creation of end-of-test evaluation reports based on test outcomes to show compliance to federal legislation and/or internal requirements.Communication of system and/or part failures to relevant design engineers.Design/engineering of equipment to assist in calibration of crash test dummies.Review procedures and participate in external audits to support compliance to NATA and ISO requirements.
