Handle all phases of civil litigation, including general tort liability, construction defect, commercial litigation, first-party litigation/arbitration, product liability, workers compensation and insurance coverage.Represent construction companies and public entities in complex construction defect/accidents, including engaging in declaratory judgment actions against third-party venders and insurers for indemnity and coverage.Represent dentists before New Jersey State Board of Dentistry and in recovery claims by insurance companies.Represent doctors and other professionals in response to and in compliance with subpoena duces tecum and ad testificandum and in compliance with HIPAA.Provide first party and third party coverage opinions. Draft and argue motions on various issues including summary judgment and discovery.Evaluate and develop legal strategy for each matter.Negotiate settlements and structure settlement agreements with adversary counsel.Regular appearances for arbitrations, mediations, court conferences and settlement conferences.Appear and conduct hearings and depositions. Train and supervise entry level attorneys in investigation, motion practice and discovery process.
